🧩 ACF Plugin

The ACF Plugin extends FileMaker with the ACF scripting language and a rich set of functions for math, text, encryption, translation, and more. Previous release for Windows is a while back, 1.7.3.7 – but it has been developed many new features that is now available in this release.

  • New multilingual translation functions (_() and _n()) make it easy to build fully localized FileMaker solutions.
  • Trial mode runs for 30 minutes at a time without a license. Translation functions remain available even without a license.
  • Licensed users enjoy uninterrupted access to all features.

⚙️ ACFcompiler

The ACFcompiler is a standalone command-line tool that lets you:

  • Compile and test ACF scripts outside FileMaker.
  • Integrate ACF language support into your development workflow.
  • Integrate in Sublime Text – All configs are in the package.
  • Check syntax and manage dependencies with speed and flexibility. Just inside your IDE.

This makes it easier to maintain complex logic across multiple FileMaker projects.

📊 DDRparser

The DDRparser is a command-line utility for analyzing and exporting FileMaker Database Design Reports (DDR)and SaveAsXML exports.

  • Splits large XML reports into structured files for easy search and diffing.
  • Works on both DDR (Database Design Report) and “Save a copy as XML” format.
  • Perfect for version control with Git.
  • Helps you understand and document even the largest solutions.
  • Scan the solution for translatable strings, create and update POT file for translation. Update translation files in any language. Integrated with openAI to translate strings. The POT/PO format is well known amongst translators and developers around the clode. There is a well of tools for working with this format – Single user or colaboration tools.

NOTE: If you need to install “GIT” on your windows computer – Use the following command in terminal / cmd prompt:

winget install --id Git.Git -e

You might need to restart FileMaker after installation is complete.

If GIT is missing, the GUI app will find out and warn you when you select git-auto-commit.
