The keyboard

The quick calculator resembles a conventional calculator, but several keys have additional functions.

• The TAB key (--->!) - This key has different function in different circumstances.
  • During library-function entry, it accepts the current parameter and moves to the next.
  • After the final parameter, it closes the function automatically.
  • Outside parameter collection, it completes the current entry without finalizing the formula as = does.
  • If parentheses remain open, it appends a closing parenthesis.
• The VARS key: This key opens the left drawer containing the variables.
• The ^ key in the bottom-left corner is a shift key. It changes the functions on the left keypad; for example, sqrt becomes cbrt. The literal power operator is available on the shifted y^x key.
• The log... key: Opens a separate window with the print log. All the "=" logs the complete formula and the answer here.
• The edit key lets you edit the current formula.
• x, y, z, a, b, c, d, r, h, w - insert the variable in your formula. In shifted state, those assign the current result into that variable.
