Simple operands

The basic operators are +, -, *, /, and ^. The final operator means "raised to the power of".

The calculation engine takes one operand at a time, and complete the calculation. The priority of evaluation is:

  2. Power of
  3. Multiply and divide
  4. Plus and minus.

Content in parentheses is evaluated first, followed by powers, multiplication and division, and finally addition and subtraction.
