Editing formulas

Because the formula text is visible, mistakes can be corrected without entering the calculation again. Press Edit, change the formula, and finish editing to make FormulaCalculator evaluate the revised expression.

On macOS, Edit opens the editing dialog. On Windows, the formula becomes editable in place; finish with Enter or leave the field. The text remains selectable and copyable in both versions.

In a calculation sheet, the entire left pane is always editable. Pressing Enter creates a new calculation line and recalculates the sheet.
